Epi fans The Flaming Lips along with Cut Copy and Valerie June are scheduled to play the Seattle based Upstream Music Fest + Summit 2018. Upstream is a unique three-day festival that mixes national artists and rising stars. Consequences of Sound and Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic are among the guest curators.

Unconventional, unspoiled, stickin' it to the man, but distributed by the largest record company in the world, The Flaming Lips leave no psychedelic stone unturned in their perpetual, ever-renewing plan to take over the universe, one balloon and one brain cell at a time. Checkout their recent collection, Lady Nuggs 20 Years After Clouds Taste Metallic 1994-1997. The Flaming Lips are probably the closest approximation to seeing Parliament/Funkadelic at their funky best.

And best of all, both singer Wayne Coyne guitarist Steve Drozd uses a much loved Epiphone Ltd. Ed. G-1275 Double Neck, an instrument that no rocker should be without. Hey if it's good enough for Earl Hooker and Elvis, why not? Check one out today at your nearest Authorized Epiphone Dealer and look for our interview with Mr. Drozd soon.
