Vampire Weekend have added more festivals for 2019 ahead of the release of their new album, due early next year. The band has already committed to the Hangout Festival May 17-19 in Gulf Shore, Alabama, the Firefly Music Festival in Dover, Delaware in June, and several European festivals including Mad Cool in Madrid and NOS Alive in Lisbon, Portugal.  Vampire Weekend, led by lead singer and longtime Epiphone fan Ezra Koenig, recently made a surprise appearance at Neuehouse Hollywood performing a cover of Bob Dylan’s classic “Jokerman” and Ezra has teased numerous “joker” references on his instagram page. But so far, no concrete news on the album’s details have been released. Stay tuned and in the meantime, checkout Ezra’s favorite Epi, the Sheraton II PRO, Epiphone's most influential "thin-line" semi-hollowbody electric archtop, now offered in a beautiful new Midnight Sapphire finish plus critically acclaimed ProBucker™ pickups with coil-splitting and a Graphtech® NuBone XL™ nut. Now in Midnight Sapphire Blue, Wine Red, and Ezra’s favorite, Natural.
