Fab Features
Patterned after John Lennon's favorite Gibson J-160E, the Epiphone signature model EJ-160E features an advanced jumbo, sloped-shoulder body shape with a solid spruce top and select mahogany back and sides. Spruce is a preferred tonewood for acoustic guitars and begins to open up over time, especially with regular playing. So play your EJ-160E a lot! Just like the vintage model John played, the EJ-160E includes a rosewood bridge with a synthetic bone saddle. Acoustic guitar tops endure great stress between the nut and the bridge and rosewood has a proven to be both a solid and great sounding combination with solid spruce.
