Released for 2005 with the full approval of Valensi himself, the Riviera P-94 follows the spec that gives the Strokes guitarist his unique tone. Faithful to the 1960s Riviera used by Valensi in the studio, this affordable new model is fitted with two Gibson P-94 pickups, giving you the high output and stinging sustain of the legendary P-90 in a humbucker housing. From the fuzzy chords of New York City Cops to the searing lead breaks of Reptilia, this stylish axe has the tonal diversity to handle recording or session work, while the comfort of its semi-solid maple body and mahogany neck ensures it won’t let you down on the tourbus.
