The Entertainment Relations Team is responsible for identifying and creating opportunities that deliver an unrivaled brand experience to artists, fans, and like-minded lifestyle brands. This team works collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Production/Manufacturing and touches Content, Social, and Events to deliver tailored promotions, experiences, and partnerships both nationally and globally. Gibson’s Entertainment Relations Showrooms are cultural centers located in primary markets around the world. These exclusive spaces provide musicians and other luxury brand partners an unrivaled music experience that establishes Gibson’s dedication to and support of artists in that market and as a result the loyalty of music makers. The Showroom Coordinator, reporting directly to the Entertainment Relations Manager/Director and sitting within the Global Entertainment Relations team, will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Gibson Showroom in his/her region as well as all artist and brand partner accommodation sales. He/she will be responsible for inventory management of Gibson and all other Gibson brands (Epiphone, Kramer, Steinberger, KRK, Cerwin-Vega, etc.) housed within the showroom. The Showroom Coordinator will also be responsible for tracking the flow in and out of this inventory as it is placed with artists and partners to generate and expand brand exposure and brand loyalty. This encompasses product placements with artists and brands, product placements in TV and Film, and any other beneficial product placements as determined by the Entertainment Relations Manager and Director.
The Showroom Coordinator bears the responsibility for the overall maintenance of the Gibson Showroom including first-class presentation of Gibson and other products and general cleanliness and appearance of the space and gear inventory that reflects Gibson’s dedication to quality and prestige. Day-to-day responsibilities include oversight of all showroom operations and operational needs including inventory maintenance, invoice processing, office supplies, vendor and other relationships (cleaning, sound engineers, property management, etc.). He or she will work with Entertainment Relations teams around the world to develop standard efficiencies and protocols for global network of Gibson Showrooms. In addition, the Showroom Coordinator will work with the Entertainment Relations Director/Professional to ensure the overall utilization of the Gibson Showroom in his or her market, producing events that amplify Gibson’s regional/national presence and dedication to supporting our roster of artists.
The Showroom Coordinator role is critical, as this position represents the face of Gibson and our commitment to servicing our artists who represent the brand’s biggest fans. The successful Showroom Coordinator must represent Gibson professionally and with passion in all interactions with partners and artists. As an important member of the team, the Showroom Coordinator must reflect Gibson’s commitment to music and its makers.
Willingness to dive deep into the details while keeping an eye on the bigger picture will be critical to identifying opportunities and providing an exceptional brand experience to the company’s artists and fans. A demonstrated ability to create and maintain an exclusive, exceptional brand experience for all artists and partners visiting the showroom is vital. Juggling multiple priorities while working in a fast-paced, multi-functional, matrixed, and international team is required.
