Job Summary: 

 

As a Staff Accountant, you will maintain financial records and reports, gain exposure with subsidiaries across various foreign currencies in US GAAP and IFRS, assist in month end close, maintain account schedules and reconciliations, and act as a key member throughout our external audit. Our team values and expects excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. We are looking for a strong staff accountant that can be promoted to Senior Accountant on an accelerated track.

 

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Maintain financial reports and general ledger accounts. 
  • Prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
  • Act as a point person during various audits.
  • Reconciles bank accounts, cash disbursements, vendors, and payroll.
  • Fixed asset reporting and maintaining CIP accounts.
  • Working with Corporate Controller and Assistant Controller on projects as needed.
  • Collaborating with manufacturing location Controllers on inventory accounts and projects.
  • Regularly working with FP&A, Tax, and other cross-functional departments.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Working knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • High-level of initiative and motivation.
  • Team player with positive attitude.

 

Education and Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
  • Minimum of 2-years equivalent work experience.

 

Travel Requirements:

 

  • Infrequent visits to manufacturing locations.
