Job Summary: The DTC Team Lead will be a hybrid role within the overall Cultural Influence department of Gibson as we work towards building our impact and inspiration through key branding activities. Reporting to the both the Executive Director of Gibson Gives and the SC Operations team, you will need to be prepared to bring a high level of enthusiasm to a role which has a lot of scope. This position will require a vast knowledge of all our brand products and high capacity to organize in order to support the goals of the Cultural Influence pillars including Gibson Gives, Entertainment/Artist Relations, Brand Partnerships, Gibson TV/Media, and Public Relations. The DTC Team Lead will work closely with Gibson Gives to support their product needs as well as tracking all product flow for projects as prioritized by the Gibson Gives Executive Director. This position will also work closely with the SC Operations, DTC and Entertainment Relations team to ensure product needs for artist forward initiatives and brand partnerships. The role will effectively execute our inventory flow, project management, audit requirements, proper instruments match to giving opportunities and/or artist’s projects, and be an important member of the global Cultural Influence team.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Support the Executive Director, Gibson Gives and the Cultural Influence Team in product management and department organization
  • Collating and delivering product for each giving cause/Entertainment Relations need from product selection to tracking and ensuring delivery
  • Organize the products with Gibson Brands Operations Center (GBOC) staff and management to ensure product (inventory) location is accurate, aligned to orders and managed across the various types of inventory including DC and DTC inventory statuses 
  • Working with the DTC and Marketing team at GBOC, research and understanding of need so product recommendations and/or substitutions can be made based on product availability
  • Manage and maintain the internal product, inventory and sales order management systems to ensure all details are accurate and up to date
  • Administrate product movement and order execution within Gibson’s Microsoft D365 ERP system across facilities

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills. May be required to interface with artists and brand partners on occasion
  • Proven track record of successful project management and organization
  • Ability to work in teams and matrix 
  • Operational efficiency and organization skills
  • Ability to keep projects on time and on budget
  • Proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and willingness to become proficient in D365 
  • Highly motivated, self-starter 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience 
  • College degree (preferred, but optional)
  • Product, entertainment, and project tracking experience 

 

Additional Details:  

  • Be completely familiar with inventory available for both Gibson Gives and ER needs
  • Building a visual list and tracking all inventory requests from order to delivery
  • Assist with managing ER office orders to include inventory positioning and system transfers
  • Manage all associated paperwork for audit purposes (order, substitutions, inventory adjustments, tracking, etc.) as well as all system transactions to maintain accurate inventory
  • Aid in the investigation of R&R errors in shipping and system alignment
  • Work with cross functional teams to manage photoshoot needs of specific projects and manage the timing of system transactions
