The Senior Supply Chain Management Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. Identify opportunities specifically within or manufacturing environments to improve efficiency. Responsibilities will include a full range of activities from leading small to mid-size projects to assisting other project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level. 

Essential Functions:

  • Understand the company’s manufacturing business processes and help establish MS Dynamics F&O configuration/overall system architecture, to improve operations and solve problems 
  • Run and complete projects on time and within budgets 
  • Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results  
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities 
  • Serve as a liaison between Operations and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations 
  • Facilitate the transition of Business Applications to sustainable, long-term platforms  
  • Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process 
  • Develop and implement plans for improving business processes using new technologies with an awareness of the business need; incorporate organizational needs and objectives into planning process 
  • Map/Document process flows within user disciplines 
  • Develop and deliver training for new systems

  • Ability to understand how to prioritize and project manage given resource constraints, including both human and financial 
  • Strong research capability and ability to develop presentations 
  • Solid interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organization 
  • Must have experience working on large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests from the business 
  • Strong project management, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point, strong relationship building skills & communication skills 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field of study and 5 years work experience 
  • Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics F&O ERP 
  • Strong understanding of MS Dynamics database structure 
  • Experience in manufacturing, scheduling and operations environments 
  • Large scale project management experience 

 

Travel Requirements:

Travel to company’s manufacturing facilities and sales centers both domestically and internationally to better understand customer, operational and vendor needs will be required.
