Job Summary:

 

The Aftermarket Parts Coordinator owns the process by which Gibson supplies their dealers & customers with replacement parts. This role communicates supply and demand of specific parts internally and externally, while continuously making part supply and replenishment as seamless for our fans as possible. 

 

A successful part coordinator will work closely with various departments within the organization to develop the correct program and ensure adherence to that program after it is established. 

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Oversee and ensure data accuracy for aftermarket parts in D365.
  • Create and oversee a part kit program for key distribution centers and dealers. 
  • Coordinate part kit upkeep and global expansion
  • Communicate part supply to dealer and consumer channels (B2B & DTC)
  • Communicate part demand to appropriate team.
  • Create and oversee part supply/demand dashboard for regular executive review.

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

 

  • Guitar dealer channel experience preferred.
  • Experience managing supply and demand of parts.
  • Experience using D365 is preferred.
  • Experience being efficient in a matrix organization.
  • Strong ability to effectively work with peers to solve problems and keep projects moving.
  • Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.   Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner.

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience with material planning or project management required.
  • B.S. in engineering or related field a plus
  • Results oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.

 

Travel Requirements: 

  •  This position is mostly office based but may involve irregular travel.
