We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to join our organization and participate in our Summer 2024 internship program. The Strategic Enterprise Project Manager Summer Intern will be part of Gibson’s EPMO team and will report directly to the Manager of Strategic Enterprise Programs. This role will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development and execution of strategic initiatives that drive the overall success of our organization. The role will work in close partnership with cross-functional teams to help drive positive transformation and support the development and execution of strategic plans aligned with Gibson’s organizational goals. This person will combine business analytics skills with project management knowledge to support the successful implementation of enterprise initiatives. The candidate would ideally have:
- Excellent research and data analysis abilities
- Awareness of project management methodologies and tools
- Experience working in a team setting on complex projects
- Strong communication, critical thinking, organization, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analysis: Conduct research, data analysis, and benchmarking to support decision-making process.
- Data Compilation and Interpretation: Collect, organize, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Assist in Strategy Development: Collaborate with the team to contribute ideas, insights and recommendations for the development of the organization. Participate in team brainstorming and working sessions.
- Project Support: Support the EPMO on a variety of cross-functional projects by developing and maintaining project status reports, implementing PMO best practices, and applying project management tools to ensure project success.
- Communication: Assist in the development, distribution, and presentation of meeting materials, with the ability to synthesize meeting dialogue into actionable items
Qualifications:
- Studying: Business Management, Administration, or related field
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Excellent research and data analysis abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
- Organization and planning capabilities with ability to multitask and work on different projects
- Works well to meet strict deadlines
Experience:
- Relatable prior job experience (i.e., project management or business analytics)
- Involvement in school projects, etc.
While prior internship experience is a plus, it is not required
